Abstract [sv]

Introduktion: Arbetsrelaterad stress har blivit ett växande problem under de senaste decennierna för personal inom hälso- och sjukvård vilket påverkar medarbetarnas välbefinnande, produktivitet och sjukfrånvaro. Det har även noterats att stressrelaterade sjukskrivningar ökat mellan våren 2019 och våren 2024. Samtidigt som stressrelaterad ohälsa har ökat så har digitala hälsolösningar utvecklats och uppmärksammats som flexibelt stöd och kostnadseffektivt för att minska arbetsrelaterad stress.

Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva om och hur digitala verktyg kan hantera arbetsrelaterad stress hos vårdpersonal.

Metod: En strukturerad litteraturstudie som är baserad på 18 vetenskapliga artiklar som sedan analyserades med tematisk analysmetod.

Resultat: Resultatet visar att digitala verktyg i form av appar för mindfulness och meditation, webbaserade stresshanteringsprogram samt teknikstöd i form av AI i stor utsträckning visar sig vara effektiva mot arbetsrelaterad stress bland vårdpersonal. Däremot pekar resultatet på att interventionernas effekt kan förstärkas av faktorer som individanpassning, tillgänglighet, flexibilitet, följsamhet och psykologiskt stöd.

Slutsats: Resultatet visar på att digitala verktyg kan bidra till minskad arbetsrelaterad stress hos vårdpersonal och analys med JD-R modellen visar att digitala verktyg kan fungera som arbetsresurser. Det behövs dock fortsatt forskning på ämnet med längre uppföljningstider för att säkerställa långsiktiga effekter och optimal integration i arbetsmiljön.

Abstract [en]

Introduction: Work-related stress has become a growing problem in recent decades for healthcare personnel, affecting employee well-being, productivity and sick leave. It has also been noted that stress-related sick leave increased between spring 2019 and spring 2024. At the same time as stress-related ill health has increased, digital health solutions have been developed and recognized as flexible support and cost-effective for reducing work-related stress.

Aim: The purpose was to describe whether and how digital tools can manage work-related stress in healthcare personnel.

Methods: A structured literature review based on 18 scientific articles that were then analysed using thematic analysis.

Results: The results show that digital tools in the form of mindfulness and meditation apps, web-based stress management programs and technological support in the form of AI are largely proven to be effective against work-related stress among healthcare professionals. The results indicate that the effect of the interventions can be strengthened by factors such as individualization, accessibility, flexibility, compliance and psychological support.

Conclusions: The results show that digital tools can contribute to reduced work-related stress in healthcare professionals and analysis with the JD-R model shows that digital tools can function as work resources. Continued research on the subject with longer follow-up periods is needed to ensure long-term effects and optimal integration into the work environment.
