Abstract [en]

Previous research has showcase the game enhance the learning experience, however, how can achievement effect the participant self perception of certain contents? This study focuses on the affect of the user’s self perceived knowledge of advanced driving assist system (ADAS) having achievements in a car game. With A/B testing of a car game, the participants answer a short survey and answer a questionnaire with a likert scale to observe self perceived knowledge.

The results of 20 participants show that the group with achievements the total mean likert scale is 3.55 while the non achievement group is 3.22. This shows a very small effect of achievements, but because of small sample and similar mean there is no significant affect of having achievements in changing the self-perceived knowledge of ADAS.

For future works recommends a bigger sample size and different game design with different ADAS questions to see if there are any different results.
