Abstract [en]

This study focuses on the impact of the integration of digital museums and serious games on the dissemination of Chinese ceramic culture, aiming to explore how to transform digital ceramic museums into serious games for cultural education by incorporating game mechanisms, thereby more effectively spreading Chinese ceramic culture. Taking the light adventure exploration serious game Museum No. 9 as a reference case, the study combines the technological advantages of digital museums with game mechanisms to analyze the dissemination effect of digital ceramic museums. The study adopts the questionnaire survey method, showing the game demonstration video and collecting 21 valid questionnaires from participants, to analyze the preferences of respondents for mechanisms such as game-based exhibition operation, free exploration, and historical story narration. The results show that 95% of the participants' interest in museum exhibits increased after watching the game, and more than 75% of the participants support the dissemination of Chinese ceramic culture through game-based methods. The research indicates that integrating immersive interaction, role-playing, and free exploration and other game elements into digital ceramic museums can enhance the dissemination effect and user engagement. This study provides practical references for the digital transformation and interactive dissemination of traditional culture and reveals the design potential of integrating game mechanisms with cultural education goals.
