Introduktion: Starten av Covid-19 pandemin tvingade hälso- och sjukvården att snabbt och plötsligt göra stora omställningar bland annat med sjukvårdsbesöken. Många möten med patienter ändrades från fysiska besök till videokonsultationer. Videokonsultationerna innebar en stor förändring som ingen var förberedd på, men nödvändig för att klara av sjukvård på distans. Övergång till digital kommunikation introducerades över världen snabbare än tidigare.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hälso- och sjukvårdspersonalens erfarenheter av videokonsultationer med patienten.

Metod: Metoden var en strukturerad litteraturöversikt, där 12 kvalitetsgranskade artiklar undersöktes. Analysen genomfördes med en tematisk analys.

Resultat: Den tematiska analysen gav fyra olika teman: Patienter som kan delta i videokonsultation. Fördelar med videokonsultation. Videokonsultation i det nära vårdmötet. Utmaningar med videokonsultation. Videokonsultationer visar både på fördelar och utmaningar som personalen inom hälso- och sjukvården ställdes inför. Den digitala utvecklingen gick snabbt och tekniken var inte självklar för alla.

Slutsats: Erfarenheterna som framkom var att videokonsultationer hade effektiviserat vårdmötet och ökat tillgängligheten, men brister fanns som utesluter personer att delta i den digitala vården.

Introduction: The start of the Covid-19 pandemic forced the healthcare system to quickly and suddenly make major adjustments, including with healthcare visits. Many meetings with patients changed from physical visits to video consultations. The video consultations meant a big change that no one was prepared for, but necessary to cope with healthcare remotely. The transition to digital communication was introduced across the world faster than before.

Aim: The purpose of this study was to examine the healthcare professionals' experiences of video consultations with the patients.

Methods: The method was a structured literature review, where 12 quality-reviewed articles were examined. The analysis was carried out with a thematic analysis.

Results: The thematic analysis yielded four different themes: Patients who can participate in video consultation. Benefits of video consultation. Video consultation in the close care meeting. Challenges with video consultation. Video consultations show both benefits and challenges faced by healthcare professionals. Digital development was rapid, and technology was not obvious to everyone.

Conclusion: The experience that emerged was that video consultations had streamlined the care meeting and increased accessibility, but there were shortcomings that exclude people from participating in digital care.
