Sättet att arbeta på förändras ständigt, det blir allt viktigare att utforma kontor- och skolmiljöer som främjar prestationen. Det har identifierats faktorer som bidrar till en ökad arbetsprestation, där ljud, estetik och utrymme är de främsta. Samtidigt blir hållbar utveckling en allt större del av samhällets fokus. Det har identifierats en brist på marknaden av skrivbordstillbehör som främjar en god arbetsmiljö. Detta examensarbete har utvecklat en kollektion med skrivbordstillbehör, med fokus på människa och miljö. Det har studerats vilka faktorer som påverkar arbetsprestationen, samtidigt som användarens behov och preferenser undersökts. De identifierade behoven och preferenserna har sammanställts i en kravspecifikation, med grund i den breda litteratur- och förstudie som genomförts. Bland annat var intervjuer och observationer en del av förstudien. En grundlig materialundersökning där innovativa material undersökts har lett fram till ett val som både främjar arbetsmiljön och aspekter inom hållbar utveckling. Idégenerering, bestående av bland annat brainstorming och braindrawing, prototyptillverkning och användartester har varit en del av den iterativa fasen som har lett fram till resultatet. Examensarbetet har resulterat i en kollektion med skrivbordstillbehör bestående av fem unika produkter, där två produkter syftar till förvaring av kablar, en syftar till avskärmning, en syftar till förvaring riktad till kontorsmiljöer och en syftar till förvaring riktad till skolmiljöer. Produkterna ger bland annat lättillgängliga förvaringsutrymmen, där användarna kan organisera och strukturera tillhörigheter utifrån behov samtidigt som produkterna bidrar till en förbättrad ljudnivå.

The way of working is constantly changing, it is increasingly important to design office- and school environments that promote performance. Factors that contribute to increased work performance have been identified, where sound, aesthetics and space are the most important. At the same time, sustainable development is becoming an increasingly large part of society's focus. A lack in the market of desk accessories that promote a good working environment has been identified. This degree project has developed a collection of desk accessories, with a focus on the human and the environment. Factors that influence work performance have been studied, at the same time the user's needs and preferences have been studied as well. The identified needs and preferences have been compiled in a requirement specification, based on the extensive literature- and preliminary study that has been carried out with help of interviews and observations among others. A broad material survey in which innovative materials were examined has led to a choice that both promotes the working environment and aspects of sustainable development. Idea generation, consisting of brainstorming and braindrawing, prototyping and user tests have been a part of the iterative phase that has led to the result. The thesis has resulted in a collection of desk accessories that consists of five unique products, where two products will handle cords, one product for shielding, one product that provides storage for office environments and one product that provides storage for school environments. Among other things, the products provide easily accessible storage spaces, where users can organize and structure belongings based on needs, as the same time as the products contribute to an improved sound level.
