Bakgrund: Inom tidigare forskning så har det poängterats att projektarbeten tenderar att bli mer lyckade när en effektiv kommunikation bibehålls under hela projektfasen. Däremot så finns det inte särskilt många studier som fokuserar på vad som bidrar till en effektiv kommunikation i praktiken.

Syfte: Syftet bakom denna studie är att undersöka projektgrupper för att generera kunskap om hur de arbetar för att främja och bibehålla en effektiv kommunikation i praktiken. Genom att studera detta ämne så handlar det inte bara om förbättrandet av ett projekts framgång samt effektivitet, utan det kan även bidra till ökade kunskaper gällande interaktioner hos individer samt samarbetet inom en arbetsmiljö.

Metod: I denna studie så har en kvalitativ forskning genomförts med intervjuer baserat på elva respondenter ifrån olika projektgrupper. Intervjuerna har genomförts via videosamtal och mejl. Det insamlade materialet har sedan transkriberats i Microsoft Office 365.

Resultat: Resultatet av studien har påvisat att en kombination av muntliga och skriftliga kommunikationskanaler är som mest effektivt för det dagliga arbetet. Studiens resultat har även påvisat att användningen av gruppmöten och feedbacks har en positiv påverkan för kommunikationen, ifall det hanteras på rätt sätt.

Background: Previous research has highlighted that project work tends to be more successful when effective communication is maintained throughout the entire project phase. However, there are not many studies that focus on what practically contributes to effective communication.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine project groups in order to generate knowledge about how they work to promote and maintain effective communication in practice. By studying this subject, the goal is not only to improve a project's success and efficiency but also to contribute to increased understanding of individual interactions and collaboration within a work environment.

Method: In this study, qualitative research was conducted through interviews with eleven respondents from different project groups. The interviews were conducted via video calls and email. The collected material was then transcribed using Microsoft Office 365.

Results: The study's results have shown that a combination of verbal and written communication channels is most effective for the daily work. The results also indicate that group meetings and feedback within project work have a positive impact on the communication if handled correctly.
