Video games potential role within mental health? (English)
Abstract [en]

Many people suffer from mental health disorders around the world especially when COVID-19 happened. To combat against ever increasing demand for mental health, there is need to find some kind of alternative, especially when children and adolescent are reluctant to use traditional treatments. The results that this study came to after analysing and drawing conclusions from the other texts is that video games have a very big potential as an alternative for treatment but that it also could be used as a preventative tool too. However, there is need for further investigation and research before starting to use video games in an official setting.
