Abstract [en]

Nowadays, the use of electric cars is increasing, which is why the number of electric charging stations in which these cars are charged is also on the rise. In the stations, the control is one of the fundamental parts, since it is in charge of coordinating the different charging states that can occur and the management of the energy available at any given moment. This is why this project is based on designing the hardware and software architecture of a charging station. This has been done by taking the V-model method as a reference, firstly looking for information on how an electric station works, then proposing a generic design of an electric station and finally, designing the hardware and programming the software using Codesys. In this last section, the software explains how and why the proposed code was made and the screens created to verify the functionality of the station. On the other hand, in the hardware, the first steps that have been carried out until reaching the block diagram of a PLC are explained.

In this project, the results obtained in the software part are based on the fact that the energy management made through the code and reflected on the screens is correct. In the Hardware part, in the selection of the SOM (System on Module) and the block diagram of the Carrier board. In conclusion, the objectives that were set at the beginning of the document have been achieved, as the desired results have been obtained.
