Introduktion: Digitalt våld är en växande form av könsrelaterat våld som i synnerhet drabbar unga kvinnor. Det innefattar bland annat trakasserier, icke-samtyckt spridning av privat material och digital kontroll. Dessa handlingar kan leda till psykisk ohälsa, social isolering och minskat deltagande i både offentliga och digitala rum. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka sambandet mellan digitalt våld och unga kvinnors psykiska hälsa. Metod: En strukturerad litteraturstudie genomfördes där 20 peer reviewgranskade orginalartiklar hämtades från databaserna PubMed och CINAHL. Materialet analyserades med tematisk analysmetod. Resultat: Analysen resulterade i tre huvudteman. Dessa är Digitalt våld, Konsekvenser av digitalt våld och Ungas sårbarhet och behov av skydd i digitala miljöer. Slutsats: Digitalt våld har en tydligt negativ inverkan på unga kvinnors psykiska hälsa och välbefinnande. För att motverka detta krävs tidiga förebyggande insatser, ökad kunskap och tvärsektoriellt samarbete. Att främja digital trygghet och säkerställa jämlik tillgång till skyddande resurser är avgörande för att stärka unga kvinnors hälsa i ett digitaliserat samhälle.

Introduction: Digital violence is a growing form of gender-based violence, particularly affecting young women. It includes online harassment, non-consensual sharing of private content and digital control. These behaviors can lead to psychological distress, social withdrawal and reduced participation in public and digital spaces. Aim: The aim of the study was to examine the connection between digital violence and young women's mental health. Method: A structured literature review was conducted using 20 peer-reviewed original articles retrieved from the databases PubMed and CINAHL. The data was analyzed through a thematic analysis approach. Results: The analysis generated three main themes. These are Digital violence, Consequences of digital violence and Young people's vulnerability and need for protection in digital environments. Conclusion: Digital violence has a significant negative impact on the mental health and well-being of young women. To address this early preventive measures, increased awareness and crosssectoral collaboration are crucial. Promoting digital safety and ensuring equal access to protective resources are essential for supporting young women’s mental health in a digitalized society.
