    Abstract [en]

    One of the most important tasks of school is to teach all children to read. The aim of thisstudy is to elucidate and to analyze the statements and arguments, of the pedagogues,concerning meeting with children with identified language disorder. We want to spotwhat is said to be of significance in order to stimulate these students' readingdevelopment in the first to the third grade. In order to find answers, to the questions ofthe issues, we have used a qualitative method with unstructured interviews. In the studyfive pedagogues were interviewed, all of them with experience of working with studentswith language disorder. The result shows that the opinion of the respondents, aboutwhat is of significance in order to stimulate the reading development of these students isthe relationship to the student, to meet on the level of the student, organizationflexibility, amount experience, external help and parent collaboration. With support ofschedules the student’s individual reading development can be followed and the workaccordingly organized by the pedagogues. The difficulties influence their learningthrough the years and primary their reading development. Therefore, the strength of thestudent and the using of the five senses must be taken to heart in the education, in orderto better incorporate reading. Of great importance for reading development, of studentswith language disorder, is tailored, structured and joyful stimulus of the language, inways of variation and also the student’s motivation. Fundamental, as the pedagoguesstress in the statements, is the need of information before meeting with these students,the importance of linguistic awareness and the part taking of the parents.

    Syftet med denna undersökning är att erhålla relevanta frågeställningar som ska utgöra engrund för att ge en rekommendation på en pedagogisk Open Source-programvara som stödjere-learning. En utvärderingsmodell skapas för att få fram ett relevant resultat baseras på svarenpå dessa frågeställningar. Utvärderingsmodellen tillämpas i en fallstudie för att visa enpraktisk användning av modellen. Det framgår vad som är relevant att tänka på vidinförskaffande av en Open Source-programvara som ska vara så pedagogisk som möjligt.

    Abstract [en]

    The study describes, through a qualitative method, the expressions teachers have about conflicts in work groups as a possibility or an obstacle for the teacher role. Furthermore the study aims to give an understanding of the consequence of conflicts for the teacher role. Qualitative interviews were individually conducted with teachers from three different schools teaching children aged between 10-12.

     

    The concept of conflict has during the teacher education mainly discussed through a student perspective. By being in school, the study authors noted that conflicts are also common among teachers, where the effects on various affected professional. In this context, formed an interest around the area, on the basis of whether the conflicts appears as a possibility, and an obstacle to the teacher role.

     

    The result of the study shows that conflicts in teacher teams are described as a possibility, respectively an obstacle in the role as teacher. The managing of a conflict is described as decisive in how the conflicts are considered. The teachers' experience, attitude and knowledge of conflicts in working groups are essential for the results of the conflicts. The teachers express conflicts in working groups mainly as a negative occurrence for the teacher role. Difficulties that can appear concerns cooperation, deficient commitment, the teacher's health and deficient development. In the context the study's results also show the possibilities gained from a conflict in a working group, it encourages increased creativity, improved cooperation and a more successful development work.

    Abstract [en]

    The purpose of the study is to examine the possibilities and difficulties, which six qualified teachers of subjects specific to programs and core subjects at an upper secondary school see.

    The study is qualitative and began with a pilot survey and was followed by six interviews with upper secondary school teachers who all have experiences of vocational- and preparing for ensuing studies programs. The interviews were performed at the school which made the respondents feel safe and therefore gained a higher quality in the answers.

    The theories chosen consists of a definition what integration of subjects specific to programs and core subjects involves, ways to look at knowledge and a description of when theory integrates with practice in the education.

    The results indicate that a big difficulty for teachers who work with integration of theoretical subjects and practical subjects at the vocational training education is to agree on a common opinion of integration of theoretical subjects and practical subjects at the vocational training education. Mayor factors for this collective understanding are cooperation and planning. Further more can changes of premises and schedules prevent situations where the cooperation doesn’t work. This means among other things that the school’s organisation ought to take a bigger responsibility, carry the message and look after the work with integration of theoretical subjects and practical subjects at the vocational training education. Results of integration of theoretical subjects and practical subjects at the vocational training education indicates that students see more relations and learns more when using integration.

    Studien syftar till att presentera förskollärares och lärares syn på vad som kännetecknar samverkan och dess betydelse mellan förskolan och skolan vid överlämningen av barn mellan verksamheterna. Den belyser även den pedagogiska dokumentationens betydelse för förskolans och skolans arbete med barnets utveckling. Studiens syfte uppkom ur teoretiska problem när det beror samverkan mellan förskola och skola, där den pedagogiska dokumentationen torde vara av betydelse för barnets utveckling. Utbildning och våra erfarenheter har också under åren gett ett intryck om att samverkan mellan verksamheterna visats sig vara en brist och att dokumentationen inte har använts på ett sätt som utvecklat barnet vidare.

    Studien är kvalitativ och genomförandet av intervjuerna skedde med hjälp av strukturerade intervjufrågor. Studien baseras på fem intervjuer, tre förskollärares och två lärare i skolan. Förskolorna och skolorna kommunalt drivna inom samma kommun. Resultatet visade på, enligt respondenterna, att samverkan har en stor betydelse inom verksamheterna vid överlämning av barn samt att vårdnadshavarna har en betydande roll för den pedagogiska dokumentationens vikt vid överlämningen. Sekretess och tystnadsplikt är av betydelse när dokumentationen överlämnas till skolorna. Yrkesetiska principer och normer vid samverkan, som till exempel trygghet, ses vara nödvändiga att beakta för barnen när de börjar skolan.

    Diskussionen berör samverkans betydelse, vilket framställs som en förhoppning och förberedande process som gynnar och främjar barnets fortsatta utveckling och trivsel. Studiens diskussion relateras till tidigare forskning och gällande styrdokument för förskola och skola. Samverkan som en röd tråd och organiseringen för att knyta nya vänskapsband lärare och barn emellan diskuteras då det enskilda barnet inte alltid är utgångspunkten. Skolan vill föra in förskolans pedagogik för att ta del av varandras erfarenheter, vilket uppmärksammas som en intressant diskussionsfråga.

    Abstract [en]

     

    The purpose of this study is to investigate the attitude to and experience of information and communication technology (ICT) in teachers teaching and what motivates them.

     

    The study is qualitative and its research material is based on interviews. There are eight interviews and they where carried out at one school with a stated IT profile and at another school without a stated IT profile. The two schools are located in different municipalities, but both are secondary schools.

     

    The result shows that there are differences in attitude between the two schools. The school with a stated IT profile seems to have a more open mind of using ICT when teaching, but both schools sees the lack of availability as one of the main hindrance for using it. None of the participating teachers saw themselves as controlled to use ICT in their teaching. Neither did the guiding principles from The National Agency for Education about using ICT affect their teaching.

    The purpose of this study is to make the parents expectations on the schools liability, of when a child ends up in a situation where he/she gets bullied, visible. The study aims also at lifting the parents' thoughts and expectations of the work around the cooperation between the school and the home in this matter. The definition of bullying which underlies this study is: when some or someone repeatedly gets insulting treatment. Different types of bullying are presented to give a background to what bullying could mean. The study is a qualitative examination where seven parents, to children between the ages of 6-12, have been interviewed. The result shows that parents have high expectations on the schools in the matter of cooperation with the homes. It also showed that the parents expect the schools to mark that bullying is unacceptable. The parents also wish for measures and follow-ups in the event of a bullying situation. The conclusion is that commitment, availability and cooperation are important parts which the parents expect from the schools in the case of a bullying situation.

    Abstract [en]

    Our purpose of this study is to investigate which perceptions six different teachers in primary schools have about subject integrated teaching that includes physical activity. To answer our purpose, we as authors performed a qualitative study where we carried out totally six interviews with six teachers from three different schools. Because the sample group is limited, we cannot draw any general conclusions.

     

    In the results, it appears that all respondents believe that physical activity is important for children at school where the respondents connect movement with learning in different ways. They mentioned factors as increased motivation, improved concentration and greater opportunity for individualization for the students. It also appears that subject integrated teaching with motion occurs in the context of various subjects, but the teaching is usually not planned. The results also showed that subject integrated teaching between the subject Physical Education and other subjects are not planned in those three schools. The respondents are positive when it comes to movement in school as well as collaboration with the subject Physical Education. It turns out, however, that according to the respondents, there are various obstacles such as lack of time, running out of space and that it is not always possible to integrate movement with different subjects when children also need to work in peace, they need to work and concentrate in the classroom.

    Under vår utbildning på högskolan i Skövde har vi stött på Skolverkets Diagnostiska uppgifter i matematik - för användning i de tidiga skolåren. Genom användandet av materialet tror vi att elevernas inlärningsprocess blir synlig. Men hur ser lärarna på materialet? För att få svar på frågor om detta har vi intervjuat fem lärare i grundskolans tidigare årskurser. Den empiriska studien har en kvalitativ ansats där vi genom intervjuer försöker ta reda på lärarnas åsikter och uppfattningar om materialet. Vi tolkar utifrån vår teoretiska bakgrund samt vårt resultat att materialet används på olika sätt. Det kan sättas ihop till ett arbetshäfte, vilket används under en längre period. Det kan användas som ett summerande prov av elevernas kunskapsnivå i slutet av årskurs två. Enligt vår tolkning är det hur de alltid gjort på skolan som styr förfarandet. Det är oklart om lärarna ser nyttan med materialet, eftersom de uttrycker att de har goda kunskaper om elevernas kunskapsnivå även utan att använda det. När lärarna använder materialet som ett prov, uttrycker de att de får resurser utefter resultatet som meddelas till rektor, vilken i sin tur anmäler resultatet till kommunens kvalitetsredovisning. Vi har genom vår undersökning funnit att lärarna är fokuserade på mål att uppnå för årskurs fem. Vi tror att om lärarna arbetade med materialet så som författarna av det avser, underlättar det för läraren att nå målen.
