Abstract [en]

The following thesis focus on the use of storytelling and engagment to improve learning in a museum context. To test the hypothesis, a project was created through collaboration with the World Culture Museum in Gothenburg. A metanarrative was created based on their coming exhibition, using various game design techniques to provide an engaging and immersive experience for museum visitors. After completing the experience, participants was tested on what they learned. It was predicted that people who undergo an engaging experience will be better able to remember concepts than those who do not.
