Abstract [sv]

Regeringens mål med digitaliseringen är att Sverige ska vara ledande i utvecklingen för den. Det finns en hög efterfrågan på digital kompetens och beställarkompetensen för digitala lärresurser. Detta inkluderar hur pedagoger använder, utvärderar och väljer ut lärresurser för sina elever. I särskolan ställs högre krav på att lärresurser ska passa elevens behov och förmågor. Studien syftar till att bidra med en ökad digital kompetens för pedagoger inom särskolan med metodik för utvärdering inom UX. En litteratursökning med uppföljande fallstudie har inneburit att deltagare, i intervjuer efter att ha genomfört en utvärdering, har delat med sig av reaktioner och åsikter kring hur en utvärdering av digitala lärresursen kangenomföras. Resultatet gav en bild av hur en gränssnittsinspektion i form av en heuristisk utvärdering kan genomföras av pedagoger utan erfarenhet inom UX- området. Det inkluderar även de åtgärder som rekommenderas göra för att användas mer effektivt.

Abstract [en]

The Swedish government set a goal for Sweden to become world leading in digitalizing. There is a high demand of digital competence and client competence for digital learning resources. This includes how educators use, evaluate and select learning resources for their pupils. Special schools demands a higher level of adaptability for their digital learning resources to suit their pupils’ needs and abilities. This study aims to contribute with a higher level of digital competence for educators in special school through the use of methods for evaluation used in the UX research area. A qualitative enquiry has been conducted with participants being interviewed after having completed two sets of evaluations of a digital learning resource. They offered their reactions and thoughts on how a heuristic evaluation of the digital resource can be used in their setting as a complement to existing tools for evaluation. The result gives an image on how an interface inspection in the form of a heuristic evaluation can be conducted by educators with little to no previous experience in the UX research field. It also includes the recommended actions to iterate on the heuristic evaluation approach to make it more effective for an educator in special school.
