Abstract [en]

The objective of the project is to design a work glove with integrated motion andforce sensors, to cover the lack of a tool on the market that facilitates datacollection for ergonomic studies. The present project focuses on achieving an affordable and comfortable solutionfor workers. The work glove with sensors integrated provides the angles of thewrist and the force that a worker's hand supports during the performance of atask. This option reduces data collection time without interfering with datareliability. To achieve an optimal design a user-centred methodology is used, introducingthe user into the design process. Therefore, the final design is a point of balancebetween designers and users.
